Under the Ontario Confined Space Regulation, O. Reg. 632/05, companies that have a confined space need a confined space program and training for awareness.

GTA Environmental offers onsite confined space training. The training covers the pertinent details of the legislation and the safe practices necessary to follow when doing work in confined spaces.

Whether your employees enter the confined space or not, your company still requires a confined space program, which will allow contractors to do your confined space work.

Confined Space Awareness Training

This is a 2.0 hour training session. It is meant for employees who will not enter confined spaces, but need to be aware of them. Or, they are responsible for obtaining contractor assistance to do the company's confined space work.

The training is moderate pace, allows time for questions, has practical exercises, and has a quiz at the end of the session.

Confined Space Program Development

We develop a program for your company that allows contractors to do your confined space work. The program identifies the confined spaces, and details the actions required by contractors to do the work safely.
