The "Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System" (WHMIS) is federal legislation that affects all workplaces in Canada. It has three components:

	Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
	Labels
	Worker Education

Any product that contains an ingredient in the "Ingredient Disclosure List" of the Hazardous Products Act is covered by WHMIS.
