Lighting
When a building is first built, the
lighting is designed to properly illuminate the area for the
planned activities therein. However, over time, the activities
within the workspace may change and require more or less lighting.
Under the Canada Labour Code,
there are standards for lighting for a particular work task. A
simple lighting survey can be done to determine if the lighting
matches the current work activities.
In today's economy, electricity
costs about 10 cents per kWH. Too much lighting is wasteful. Too
little lighting can slow production, cause mistakes, or cause
eyestrain. Call today to book your lighting survey, (905) 823-9137.
